Description

These are reflection nebulae in Cygnus at a. distance of approx. 5500 light years. They are associated with the Ha clouds of IC1318 which are also partly depicted. Considering there is no astronomic darkness in June here, I am quite pleased with the result.

In the lower right you can see a ring-shaped object. That is V1515 Cyg, a FU Orionis object. These stars are associated with large mass ejections and probably show a mass transfer between an accretion disc and a T Tauri star. There are also two bipolar nebulae in the image.

I also gave the CFF RC corrector another try - it seems something is really off, I can't get a fully-corrected field with it. And with my seeing, the TS RC reducer gives the same FWHM in arc seconds with a larger FOV and better per-pixel illumination, so I'm back to using that.
