Description

This faint object is similar in angular size to the full moon in the night sky but sits probably 4,500 to 6,000 light years from us and measures perhaps 60 light years across. It surrounds the Wolf–Rayet star EZ Canis Majoris.

Captured from my rurally located Skyshed pod in the western Bay of Plenty, New Zealand
