Description

First: yes, not a new Sharpless for my catalog, which is ok, not every image needs to be a new one.
Second: I love the outcome of my previous attempt (https://www.astrobin.com/3rgt14/G/?nc=&nce=), especially with the support of my friend @Jeff Coldrey, without his data additions it would have been quite a different (worse) image.
Third: I missed Hα, desperately, hence I had to go at it again to show the wonderful reddish background of this "blue Dolphin".
Fourth: With the recent star processing exercises, I thought that I might be able to get the stars better and more colorful.

All in all, after some intensive processing of old and new data, combining, mixing, overlaying, etc. them, I saw an image that I really liked, so here it is.

Version B shows the source of this nebula, right in the middle lies the Wolf–Rayet star EZ Canis Majoris, really showing up with his blue color.

Version C shows the same image with more stars, the separation of stars and starless images with SXT just makes it so easy to choose how many stars you want to see. IMHO the stars take here a bit away from the nebula itself, hence i prefer the original version. Still, I also like this version very much.

Version D shows the comparison of my attempt end of 2021 with the results of this image.

I am almost 100% confident that this was not my last visit of this area in the sky, one of my top favorites (definitely in my top 10 😊).

Next week (or maybe even this weekend 😊) back to the "boring" Messier targets 😊, although, the first impressions of the new image were quite nice.

Carpe Noctem!
