Description

The Crescent Nebula (NGC 6888) is a spectacular emission nebula situated about 5000 light-years away from Earth in the constellation of Cygnus (the swan). We captured the image un Al Sadeem Observatory using the QHY294C CMOS Camera, Meade 16" f/8 lx850 Telescope, and Skywatcher eq8 pro. The name was derived from the well-defined crescent shape; some considered it as the “Euro Sign Nebula” resembling the shape of the Euro.
