Description

The morning hours, yes, the Milky Way is coming up again, and this year I decided not to frustrate myself with trials on LRGB images of tiny targets, no, I "wasted" my few clear nights in April (or close by) just for those few hours in the morning where clear shots to one of the most fascinating areas in the sky are possible! The area around M24 really popped out, neglecting the more famous targets as M8, M20, M16, M17 and just go for it. Expected many stars, and of course I was not disappointed. PI counted 82000, and this just for the star alignment 😊.

Nicely enough, 2 Sharpless targets included, always special for me, I can count them now out of my bucket list. I wanted to get more hours together, but this year it seems that many of us suffer from cloudy nights syndrome (who had the idea to name a forum cloudy nights 😂😂😂). Forecast looks horrible, and the summer time is coming closer. I do have almost nothing left as backlog, this will be quite a long time without any astro work coming up. A few updates, this will be it, sucks!

Enjoy the little tour through our Milky Way!

P.S.: This is every pixel that the 6200 can produce, not a single one cropped 😊😊.

Title: The blue burst

Description: A mask that was used to integrate the stars showed this blue burst that is barely visible in the SHO image. Thought that was quite cool.
