Description

NGC 1499 using SHO color palette, a mustard version. The final version I prefer is HSO, Version C.

The color channels are:
Red channel : (60% S-II + 40% Ha)
Green channel: (30% S-II + 30% Ha + 40% O-III)
Blue channel: (100% O-III)

Version C color channels are:
Red channel: Ha
Green channel: S-II
Blue channel: O-III

This project is now completed. I must say, it is much easier to process monochrome data than one shot color data. This image has had minimum processing, the simpler the better for me.
Looking back, perhaps, I should have shifted the color channels, by 3 to 5 pixels as the edges of some stars are not perfect. Next time, I will.

I am not a fan of the 'mustard' color, however, my goal was to produce SHO images.
