Description

The Keyhole Nebula is a gaseous cloud, located next to the dying star Eta Carinae situated within the massive Carina Nebula. It's at a distance of 8,000 light-years from Earth and has a diameter

of 7 light-years. There is actually star formation within the Keyhole Nebula and the nebula, itself, is being influenced by the extreme stellar winds from the adjacent giant star Eta Carinae, which has a luminosity greater than 5,000,000 times our Sun.

This is a cropped version of data from Telescope Live's PlaneWave CDK 24/FLI ProLine PL 9000 located in El Sauce, Chile and is a compilation of RGBHOS subs all taken @300s.

Anyway, hope ya like it!
