Description

The Rosette Nebula is the monthly challenge object for February 2022 in the Cloudy Nights beginning deep sky imaging forum and this is my entry.

Image was taken over 5 consecutive nights (2 hours each night) with an L-eXtreme filter and one shot color camera (533mc) for a total of 10 hours.   I extracted Hydrogen alpha and Oiii data  when integrating and used the combine tool in Astro Pixel Processor (APP) to create a "HOO" image.  I also ran the light pollution and star reduction tool in APP

Image was taken from my Bortle 6 backyard in the Coachella Valley, California.

Good to be feeling better after a bout with Covid.
