Description

Also known as NGC6720, the Ring Nebula, a planetary nebula, lies in the constellation Lyra at a distance of 2,300 light-years away. This beautiful nebula was created about 4,000 years ago when the central star (several times more massive than the sun) died.

I was happily surprised to see the amount of outer structure I was able to capture but was challenging to process with out blowing out the core of the Nebula.
