Description

This object is a rarely imaged very faint molecular cloud located 1000 light years away in the constellation of Sagittarius. It is 50 arc-minutes wide, corresponding to a span of 15 light years. Like most of these clouds, not much has been written about this object in the literature.

Although I see faint hints of emission in the nebula, I find it strange that this object was included in the Sharpless catalog of emission areas since it looks more like a molecular cloud to me.
