Late starter in Astro imaging and many things I now love doing! Used to be an electrical tradesman. Went to University at 36 and gained a BSC in Computer Science. Been busy as heck with work ever since.
Got into astrophotography by accident while out fishing in our local Rainforest and capture the Aurora Australis over the dam.
Started with wide-field DSLR then bought a mount and scope then a cooled mono camera & filters.
Lucky to be living under reasonably dark skies in Rural Australia with Bortle 1 skies less than 1 hour drive from home.
Love fly fishing for wild Brown Trout in our local streams but love it even more when I visit the fast-water streams of southern Tasmania each Summer for the Wild Browns & Rainbows while camping under the stars in pristine wilderness.
