I became interested in night sky photography five years ago when I took my first nightscape image of the Milky Way with my DSLR. I continued with landscape astrophotography for three years, before I wanted to capture more. Two years ago, I decided to build a small backyard observatory to take my nightscape astrophotography to the next level. Eighteen months later, I've stumbled through the learning process long enough to acquire some basic skills. I'm always trying to get better and look forward to being a part of this group.
