Description

In spite of absence of clouds the air was notably more turbulent than last night and to what extend can be seen when zooming in to the Jupiter inset which I captured minutes before the Aristarchus Plateau. Anyway, the lunar phase was favorable and, with a little piece of luck and piece of mind, processing rescued the image. Next time I will use a drone.

The session's monochrome survivors are evacuated to the Revision section. Both with ASI290MM, 2x tubeless barlow (1.42x) IR642nm filter, 10ms, gain 130, 100fps, 600x, 1.5x drizzled.

Two hours ago a young lady who apparently lost her way stopped her car, rolled down the window and called be "brother" (お兄さん). Obviously, the recent surgery on my "behind" was successful. 🤫
