Description

Bortle 7 urban skies but unusually cold for Vancouver, Canada (-15C). Good tracking.

This is my first narrowband project with my new ASI6200MM full frame camera attached with a TS Optics field flattener to my RC8 scope. I am pleasantly surprised to see a flat and well illuminated field right to the corners of this full frame camera on a 1624mm FL RC scope. This is a great combination with its 1.3 degree FOV and 0.5as/px resolution which matches the Dawes limit of this scope.

This is a close-up of part of IC1805 (Heart Nebula) that I completed many other imaging projects with (see https://www.astrobin.com/hoy9mz). There is a lot of foreground dust in this area of the cosmos that obscures details in parts of the image - looking at it in Ha with its high contrast B&W presentation helps see what is actually going on.
