Description

Long overdue data to process from last August. I captured the bottom half of the image while visiting my wife's family for the county fair in Western Kansas ( Bortle 2 skies) on a portion of the family farm. I completed the top portion from my backyard at Bortle 4. My goal involved capturing an addition frame to add to the bottom, but I mismatch my plan and took an SHO run instead and didn't realize it for months. Hopefully later this summer, I will be able to add more frames to the mosaic.

I would enjoy any feedback positive or constructive regarding this type of Mosaic before chasing after more frames this summer.  Please take a look at the full screen or full resolution to see all of the neat aspect of the image.

LDN 1235: The Dark Shark is located in the Constellation of Cephus approximately 650 light years from earth. Dark Nebula are thick clouds of gas that absorb the wavelengths of visible light that obstruct our view of the more distant stars. Also in the shark are located 2 fascinating reflection nebula on the head (VdB 150) and under portion of the thorax (VdB149).

LDN 1251: The Dark Angler Fish as I see it,  is the molecular dust cloud of  LBN 558. Located in the constellation of Cepheus. The incredibly intricate gas cloud is approximately 1,000 light years from Earth.

Finally, Sh2-174 remained just in frame on the very top left. It is a planetary 1000 light years from earth and measures an estimated 5 light years in diameter. I was pleasantly surprised to capture it with only LRGB data at 135 mm focal length.

Below are my RASA8 version of LDN 1235 and 1251
