Description

Sh2-33 and Sh2-36 are two molecular clouds in Serpens Caput. These reflection nebula do not present emission lines, but because they reflect light from stars there will be a small amount of narrow band present. But there were no perceptible emission clouds in this field that I detected, and they respond much better to RGB.The RGB color channels are nearly the same with slightly more red and blue,

There are a number of galaxies in this field as well.

This image was taken with standard RGB filters from Bortle 1 skies at 9000' altitude, near Blackrock Ranger station Tulare county CA.
