Got started in July 2020 during covid, so the images posted represent an evolution over time.
I started with a C11 HD on a CEM40 (yes, CEM40). It worked much better than it had any right to, but I quickly got a 4" Televue which gave me a much more reasonable setup, then moved on through a series of mounts, and adding a 6" Stellarvue finally, and ending up with a terrific AP1100AE mount.
I image from a Bortle 7-ish back yard, surrounded by up-pointing streetlights in mosquito infested Florida, but occasionally make it to a B3 site in the Everglades. The good side is that I have decent seeing in Florida, so I tend to concentrate on building up lots of time on target (to make up for the B7 light pollution) and try to get high resolution shots capitalizing on the good seeing.
I welcome any criticism and suggestions for the images posted; no one ever got better from just a "Nice image", please tell me what's wrong it them!
