I hopped back into astronomy about 25 years ago when someone in my neighborhood gave me a Tasco DS-60 (as in Department Store). I cleaned it up and poked around looking at the moon and remembered how much I enjoyed astronomy as a child. Not long after that, someone loaned me an 8"Meade SCT and I got hooked big time. The Astro-imaging bug bit me when Meade promised you could make great images in just one night using their camera and software. That turned out to be a bit of a stretch on the truth but I'd already drunk the "water" and became addicted to making images of the objects in the night sky. I now have a full understanding of the term "Black Hole" - it's the invisible hole that makes your entire $$ disappear when you get fully involved in astro-imaging.
